Marianne Lévy-Leblond, commissioning editor with ARTE France’s documentary unit, and filmmaker Jean-Loïc Portron will comment on the episodes “Statue Fon du Dieu Gou” and “Piquet de Jarre Mnong Gar.” | 
Learning with music (In association with the NFB) Sunday, March 22, at 4:00 p.m. In French |  | At the world premiere of Et la musique, produced by the NFB, the children featured in Michel Lam’s documentary will share their filming experience with the audience. There will also be a short musical piece performed by the students of Sacré-Cœur primary school in Sherbrooke. | Master class: inside the conservatories Tuesday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m. In French Luc Bourdon’s film Classes de Maîtres will be followed by a roundtable discussion on the importance of teaching the arts in 2009. With Nicolas Desjardins, Director General of the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec; Raffi Armenian, conductor and Director of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal; and Gilbert Sicotte, actor and drama teacher at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal. Join in the dance (In association with ARTV) Thursday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. In French |  | The television series Heure de pointes follows four dancers and a choreographer for a year, capturing them in rehearsal and on stage. Director Sylvain Laforest and dancers Ingrid Proulx and Louise Lecavalier will be on hand with Geneviève Guérard, former principal dancer with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, to talk about the experience and take questions from the audience. Moderated by ARTV’s Marie-Christine Trottier. | The art of craft Friday, March 27, at 6:30 p.m. In French The young filmmaking collective Les Toiles filantes profiled five artisans who are breathing new life into traditional crafts. The directors and the craftspeople featured in these documentaries will be present to talk about their work and their experiences during the filming, and will be accompanied by Chantal Gilbert, President of the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec
