One in a series on different major art centres, this documentary offers a captivating panorama highlighting four Berlin-based artists. As viewers learn about the careers and works of these creators with a variety of practices, they also discover an ebullient city, a perfect environment for artists. A wonderful insight into the artists’ Berlin – a spirited and animated city.

Under their production banner RAVA Films, Ava Wiland and Rafael Salazar have directed and produced dozens of short documentaries which have received prestigious festival selection, including a Webby nomination, selections at Palm Springs Shortfest, Edinburgh International Film Festival, FiFA, among others, and have been featured at world renowned museums and cultural venues such as at the Whitney Museum, BAM and TATE. They are best known for producing series of documentary portraits celebrating contemporary artists: New York Close Up (produced by the Peabody-award winning organization Art21), FIELDWORKS, and smARTpower.
