Designer and architect Charlotte Perriand was a major creative figure of the 20th century, as well as an independent and socially active woman. She was also a student and associate of the pioneer of contemporary architecture, Le Corbusier. Perriand was a true forerunner in her field, with a unique and dynamic approach to the art of inhabiting and creating spaces. This documentary by Stéphane Ghez, with its compelling narration and impressive archival images, affords us an intimate glimpse into the life of a militant for modernity and freedom.
