Synopsis

In 1883, Claude Monet rented a house for the first time in the pretty town of Giverny. Eventually buying and enlarging the property, the artist transformed its pond into a water garden filled with water lilies and crossed by a Japanese bridge from which he would admire the water and its flowers. From 1899 to 1926, Claude Monet produced more than 250 paintings of water lilies, the most famous of which are the 8 panels that decorate the Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris.

Through a dialogue between the painter and his close friend, statesman Georges Clemenceau, the virtual reality experience Claude Monet - l’obsession des Nymphéas takes viewers away from the museum and into the changing seasons in the garden in Giverny. In a whirlwind of colours, we discover Monet’s studio and plunge into the very heart of his work. An immersive and sensory experience in a unique work.
