North American Premiere

In this epic voyage, at once documentary and art film, we trace the route of the first Finnish explorers to venture into the Far North. Driven by profound questions of creative process and seeking direction in life, two artists confront the extreme conditions of the Svalbard polar desert, drawing inspiration for their dance practice. This documentary plunges us into an intense and evocative universe—from the pre-departure preparations to the artists’ discovery of the polar wilderness—where artistic and environmental currents converge.
