Michel D.T. Lam

Michel D.T. Lam studied film at the Université du Québec à Montréal and INIS - the Institut national de l'image et du son. His first two short films, Plus ou moins trente and Sur le quai de la gare, won numerous prizes. He then directed the critically acclaimed documentary ?and music, produced by the NFB. In 2014, he ventured into multimedia with Harmonielehre, an innovative immersive film, featuring Kent Nagano and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Writer, director and producer in fiction, documentary and multimedia, he collaborates with multiple producing companies and broadcasters: DBcom Media, Esperamos, Halo Création, NFB, CBC, Télé-Québec, Discovery World, TFO, Knowledge Network, Planète+, TV5,, etc. He also heads internatinal documentaries shot around the world. (Le Théâtre des opérations, Waterfront Cities of the World, The Island Diaries, The Life-Sized City).
