The film retells the tribulations of the house inherited by painter Serge Lemoyne. This house provoked misunderstandings, hatreds, and jealousies. Burned down, the house rises again in this film.

After 4 years of Photographic studies and studies in Graphic Arts, Paul Simon turned to industrial photography. Nowadays, he is a multidisciplinary artist, exploring painting, sculpture, and jeweler's craft, as well as video editing.
