Synopsis

Presented in Quebec city at the MNBAQ

“Movement is at the origin of everything and is the principle that underlies everything.” This is one of the reflections found in Leo da Vinci’s Codex, an impressive collection of the artist’s drawings and notes that has been lovingly preserved by the Ambrosian Library in Milan. Making its world premiere, this documentary by Eve Ramboz seeks to penetrate the mystery of this quintessential Renaissance Man. Featuring animated sequences of their research work, this exploration of da Vinci’s erudite mind allows us to rediscover a masterful work through a unique visual experience.

This film will also be presented in Montreal on March 22nd.
