Synopsis

North American Premiere

The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, Depeche Mode, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, Linton Kwewsi Johnson, Kate Tempest, M.I.A. – the London music scene overflows with internationally celebrated acts. However, beyond artistic success, many of these acts have one common denominator: they carry a strong message directed at the English political circle, denouncing a society ravaged by social inequalities, and racism. This documentary paints a bright portrait a music scene that dares to go forward.
