Synopsis

Roosenberg is a place, a space, a building, a film. Roosenberg is Amanda, Godelieve, Rosa, and trees. Roosenberg is a letter that relates an encounter with four elderly sisters in a splendid abbey in Belgium. The sisters’ shared daily life, their religious practice, and their final departure from the building illustrate the history of modernist architecture.

This film will also be presented in Montreal on March 22nd and 31st.
