Synopsis

This film is available online HERE

World Premiere

The Hall mixes images of obsolete technology and instructional films about appropriate behaviour and accidents. Anne Golden is a video maker who has been exploring archival images for many years. Using these as her raw material, she constructs visions that are sometimes disturbing, sometimes funny, and often critical or unsettling. Her works are a nod to the history of women’s representation in cinema and the media and are rooted in her fascination with thrillers and horror films.
