The importance of culture in an ever-changing world is obvious. Making its world premiere, this short film highlights the importance of the traditions and heritage of our ancestors through the making of traditional Indigenous objects.

This film will also be presented in Montreal on March 22nd and 29th.


Dinah Sam

Dinah Sam is an artist from the Cree community of Chisasibi in the James Bay region of Quebec. She is passionate about her Cree traditions and her art. She enjoys spending time at camp, hunting, fishing and being outdoors but also sowing and making things with hides and pelts.
