Why are we creative? This is the question that director Hermann Vaske asked himself and that ultimately led him on a lifelong investigation to find the answer. Making its Canadian premiere, this masterful documentary, bursting with imagination and ideas, features some of the world’s most influential creative minds. In interviews with figures such as David Bowie, Stephen Hawking, Nelson Mandela and Pussy Riot, Vaske attempts to penetrate the mystery behind their creative energy.

Hermann won numerous creative awards and is a member of the European Film Academy.
