The International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) invites you to its upcoming fundraising event, to be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at 6:30 pm, at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA). Drawing its theme from a selection of short films and works celebrating Italy and the arts, the event will bring together faithful friends of the festival, the creative and business community of Quebec, professionals of the field, as well as lovers of art and cinema.

The event entitled Una serata italiana will take place under the co-chairmanship of architect Phyllis Lambert, Founding Director Emeritus of the Canadian Centre for Architecture and Silvia Costantini, Consul General of Italy in Montreal. It will celebrate Italy and the arts. The reception will begin in the Paul-Desmarais Theater of the CCA, with the screening of short films and works highlighting dance, the culinary and olfactory arts, as well as circus arts in connection with this emblematic country. A cocktail dinner featuring authentic Italian dishes from Terra Mia caterer will follow in the magnificent Shaughnessy House.

Thank you to our sponsors and partners !

Your support for the benefit evening is essential to ensuring the continuation of FIFA, to enabling the ongoing pursuit of its cultural mandate, both locally and internationally, and to preparing for the 38th edition, from March 17 to 29, 2020.

Founded more than three decades ago, the Festival is the largest of its kind in the world and aims to increase knowledge and appreciation of art through film, digital arts and interactive works. Recognized for the quality of its programming, and its multi-disciplinary focus — architecture, design, literature, dance, theatre, music, painting, photography, culinary arts, among others — but also for the diversity of views expressed, it is the international reference in this category.
